Broken down and ill-fitted Fit-Hostel in Njarðvík, Iceland, is home to several young male refugees and asylum seekers, in the same house as low-budget-travelers.

No-Borders Iceland is a non-profit organization that fights for their legal rights and supports them in social situations. I joined the organization from 2011 to 2013, and took part in the organization of a conference and event-specific sound-installation.

The sound-installation was based on my participant observation and ethnography, and was accompanied by a written account.
