Dialogues at the 8th Berlin Berlinale

This audiovisual interview is produced as part of DIALOGUES, a workshop that was offered as part of the M.A. in Visual and Media Anthropology Program at Free University in Berlin, in co-operation with the 8th Berlin Biennale for Contemporary Art. Monika Zessnik, curator of the North American collection at the Ethnologisches Museum Dahlem, discusses the cooperation between the Ethnologisches Museum Dahlem and the 8th Berlin Biennale for Contemporary Art, and the role of ethnographic museums in a world where traveling to distant places is easier than ever before.
